Q: What is the warranty period for MotionGrey products?

 A: MotionGrey offers the following warranties:

Ergo 2 Series Desks – 3 years

Motion Series Desks – 5 years

Office Chairs – 1 year

Desk Accessories – 1 year

Chair Accessories – 1 year

Health & Fitness Products – 1 year

Toys – 1 year

Q: Are replacement parts available for my product?

 A: Yes. Replacement parts are available for the warranty period listed above. Parts can be ordered through our customer service team at support@motiongrey.com or by phone at +1 (778)-312-1311.

Q: Can I install replacement parts myself?

 A: Yes. In most cases, all replacement parts can be installed using common household tools (such as screwdrivers or Allen keys) without causing damage to the product.

Exception: Motion Series desk tabletops require a drill for installation.

Q : Puis-je installer moi-même les pièces de rechange ?

 R : Oui. Dans la plupart des cas, toutes les pièces de rechange peuvent être installées à l’aide d’outils domestiques courants (comme un tournevis ou une clé Allen) sans endommager le produit.

Exception : Les plateaux de bureau de la série Motion nécessitent une perceuse pour l’installation.


The MotionGrey Warranty Policy

Each MotionGrey product that comes out of our store is offered with a warranty against defects and malfunctions. 

• The MotionGrey warranty begins the day the product is delivered to the customer. 

• The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser of the product.

• When handling a warranty claim, we make an honest assessment in diagnosing the issue and repair or replace any part necessary to correct defects in materials or workmanship—free of charge.

• The warranty terms, detailed in the product documentation and on our website, explicitly state that any modifications or the use of non-approved parts will void the warranty.

Defects pertain to any mechanical problem in the product that affects the customer’s ability to use it as designed. 

If we have assessed that the failure was due to a manufacturer error, we will repair or replace the part. However, misuse or abuse of the product, including but not limited to the items outlined below, will invalidate the warranty claim:

• Normal wear and tear due to age 

• Damage caused by improper assembly or disassembly

• Damage occurring after purchase due to product modification

• Damage caused by intentional damage, accidents, misuse, abuse, or negligence 

• Damages caused by repairs performed by anyone not affiliated with or authorized by MotionGrey.

In these instances, labor or assembly costs, as well as replacements and return shipping, will be at the customer’s expense.

Product Warranty

All dual-motor Motion Series Standing Desks and Table Tops come with a standard 8 years warranty.

All single-motor Motion 2 Series Standing Desks come with a standard 3 years warranty.

All Motion Series Standing Desk Frames come with a standard 5 years warranty, with an optional 5- or 8-year warranty for the frames.

Below MotionGrey chairs come with a 1-year standard warranty:

• Enforcer Office Chair

• Guardian Office Chair

Below MotionGrey chairs come with a 2-year standard warranty:

Warranty Coverage

STANDING DESKS & FRAMES

Our warranty covers all electronic components, including the following: 

• Power Box / CPU

• Bosch Motor within each leg

• MG-4 Keypad Controller

If problems occur within 30 days after delivery, we offer replacements and shipping. 

If problems occur after 30 days, we provide the part for free while the customer covers shipping. 

For instructions on replacing each part, you may check our replacement information form or reach out to our team.

The warranty does not cover cosmetic damage occurring from daily use. 

This includes chipping of the paint on the desk frame or denting on the table top, which may occur depending on how the desk is used or handled during moving.


CHAIRS

Our warranty covers all mechanical components, including the following:  

Gas lift cylinder: The part that allows the chair to raise and lower

Tilt-lock mechanism: The part that allows the chair to tilt backward

Recliner function: The part that allows the backrest to rotate

4D Armrest: The part that allows multi-directional adjustment for the armrest

If problems occur 30 days after delivery, we offer a free replacement and shipping. 

If problems occur after 30 days has passed, we provide the part for free while the customer covers shipping.

The warranty does not cover general wear and tear. 

This includes damage that may happen over time depending on a variety of factors. 

This includes wrinkling or cracking of the leather or mesh due to the amount of sunlight exposure the chair gets or the type of chemicals used to clean the material. 


Guide for Customers Upon Product Delivery

• Please make sure to inspect the package and items upon receipt to ensure that it is complete and that there are no damages.

• Should you notice any defect or missing parts, please reach out to our Customer Service Team. Report must be made within 30 days upon receipt to avail of free shipping on return and replacement.

• Please save all product package until the end of trial period for easier processing of return requests, if any.

NOTE: In case products did not arrive within the delivery time, please reach out to our customer service team. Any claims will be deemed void if filed more than 30 days after delivery period.

NOTE: Warranty only applies to all products purchased directly from MotionGrey.
